This policy explains how information is handled on alexshafi.com, the personal-brand website of Alex Shafirovich. It covers this website only. It does not govern InterLinc Mortgage Services, LLC, Shafi Capital Consulting LLC, or any other site you reach from a link here — each of those has its own privacy practices.

What this site does and does not collect

alexshafi.com is a static informational website. It does not collect personal information from you directly. It has no contact form, no application form, and no other field where you can submit information. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no way to upload a document. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, session recording, or marketing automation, and it does not store anything in your browser.

Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider, and that provider automatically processes ordinary technical request information when a page is served — see Website hosting and server logs below.

If you choose to call or email

The Contact page lists a phone number and an email address. Those are ordinary phone and email links — choosing to use one starts a conversation through your own phone or email provider, not through this website.

If you call or email, the information you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, and a description of what you are trying to accomplish — is used to respond to you and to continue the conversation you started. It is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used for unrelated marketing lists.

Website hosting and server logs

This site is published as static files and hosted by Netlify. As with essentially all web hosting, Netlify may automatically process ordinary technical request and server information when a page is served — such as IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, timestamps, request logs, and related security and operational data — to deliver the site and to keep it secure, available, and working properly.

That information is processed by Netlify under its own privacy practices.

Links to other sites

This site links out to places where things actually happen: InterLinc Mortgage Services, LLC (including its secure application system and its licensing pages), Shafi Capital Consulting LLC, the NMLS Consumer Access database, review platforms, and social media profiles.

Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, governed by their terms and their privacy policy, not this one. In particular, anything you submit through InterLinc's application system is governed by InterLinc's privacy policy, and any information you provide to Shafi Capital Consulting LLC is governed by that company's own practices.

Retention

This website itself stores nothing, so there is nothing held here to retain. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for its own limited operational and security periods. Messages and calls you initiate are kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, to continue a conversation you asked for, or to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to the business relationship — and are handled in the applicable business system rather than on this website.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and reasonable measures are used to protect information shared during a conversation. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and absolute security cannot be promised. That is exactly why sensitive financial documents belong in a secure application system rather than in email.

No sale of personal information

alexshafi.com does not sell, rent, or trade personal information collected through this website.

Children

This site is intended for adults considering real estate financing and is not directed at children.
