About Alex
Before the Loan, There Was the Property.
I've spent more than a decade helping people finance real estate, but I bought, held, and managed property years before I ever structured a loan for someone else. That order still shapes how I approach the work.
I'm based in New Orleans (a city I know first as an owner and a neighbor, not only as a lender), and that same up-close approach carries into how I work with clients across a broader footprint.

How I Think About a Deal
The Investor's Lens.
Owning property first meant the numbers were never abstract to me. I've sat with a deal and weighed how much leverage actually made sense, watched cash flow tighten a plan or open one up, and learned to read a property's condition and value as closely as any credit file.
Risk and opportunity looked different from that side of the table, and that's the lens I still bring to financing, long after the roles changed.
Lending Perspective
Financing Is Part of the Bigger Decision, Not the Whole Thing.
That same instinct carries into every client conversation now. Homebuyers are making a life decision as much as a financial one. Homeowners are usually deciding whether change is even worth it. Investors are weighing one property against a broader portfolio. And the Realtor partners I work with need a financing partner who can see the whole transaction, not just the loan file. In every case, the mortgage is one part of a larger real estate decision, and I try to treat it that way.
How I Want This to Feel
Whatever the scenario, I want people to leave a conversation with more clarity than they came in with: a strategy they actually understand, straightforward answers along the way, and confidence in the decision itself, not just the approval.
Understand the goal. Be transparent about the options. Solve the problems. Take care of people.
Let's Talk It Through.
You don't need to know which loan you need before reaching out. Tell me what you're trying to accomplish and we'll figure out the next step.
